Letting agent launches national repair portal for landlords

New Fiixit platform for self-managing private landlords promises to simplify the property repair process.

Southampton-based letting agent and Big Rock Estates founder Tajinder Sohal (main image, right) has launched a national repairs platform to help landlords stay on top of maintenance issues and track the status of every job.

Fiixit, which he has co-founded with fellow landlord James Smith (main image, left), is based on Sohal’s 30 years of experience as a landlord and lettings agent and will, he promises, save time, raise standards and attract and retain the very best tenants.

Sohal says: “One thing all landlords have in common – whether a full-time landlord with 50+ properties or a part-time landlord with a handful of properties and a full-time day job – is that they have properties requiring repairs.

“The boiler is broken, the fuse board keeps tripping or any number of things that pop into inboxes without any notice. The organisation and time required going back and forth between tenants and tradespeople to fix the issue can really add up, especially with multiple properties. I found Fiixit to help with this headache.

Empower

“With Fiixit landlords won’t just be managing repairs, they will be transforming the way they connect with tenants and tradespeople. In one place, from any device landlords can keep on top of all their property repairs with a single action, driving multiple outcomes.”

He adds: “Our purpose is to empower landlords with the tools they need to take command of their property maintenance, become more efficient and reduce operational costs. Landlords’ time costs money and we’re dedicated to simplifying how landlords manage repairs, plan their maintenance process and stay compliant.”

Fiixit costs vary depending on the number of properties, but prices start from around £2.50 per property/month for up to ten properties.

Fiixit is currently offering a free extended trial for all landlords taking part in phase one of the launch. To register your interest email [email protected]
