New proptech ‘swoops’ in to digitise agent appointments
Industry leaders Paul Drummond and Richard Rawlings unveil Swoople, the UK’s first digital pre-market platform for estate agent appointments.
A new propTech company, Swoople, has launched in the UK, introducing what it describes as a completely new digital category for the estate agency sector, enabling sellers to appoint and confirm an agent before their property goes to market.
Dubbed the UK’s first digital pre-market property platform, Swoople digitises the entire agent appointment process, from seller enquiry through to a signed instruction. The platform allows agents to receive pre-qualified, instruction-ready sellers, streamlining what has traditionally been a slow and manual process involving multiple calls, viewings and follow-ups.
Unlike property portals, which showcase live listings, or comparison sites that introduce agents, Swoople manages the full end-to-end appointment journey, helping agents convert interest into confirmed instructions faster.
Supporting speed
With more than 1.1 million homes sold annually in the UK, Swoople aims to save sellers weeks of time while helping agents secure business more efficiently. The company’s technology also supports upfront information disclosure, aligning with government proposals to speed up home buying through digital ID, transparency, and improved professional standards.
Behind Swoople are two industry heavyweights. Paul Drummond, Founder and CEO, is an entrepreneur and former corporate finance solicitor who co-founded the global lifestyle group Quintessentially, bringing his expertise in consumer experience and service innovation to the property sector.
He is joined by Richard Rawlings, one of the UK’s best-known estate agency trainers and marketing consultants. A regular speaker at The Negotiator Conference, Rawlings has trained thousands of agents worldwide and is recognised as one of the leading voices in estate agency strategy and performance.
Swoople is now live and open to agent registrations nationwide.
