New Zoopla product to ‘unlock £2bn in leads for estate agents’

Prospect Plus connects motivated sellers with local agents using the portal's four million homeowner database.

Zoopla has launched Prospect Plus, which gives agents direct access for the first time to homeowners who say they want to move in the next 12 months, unlocking what the portal estimates is £2bn in sales commission for estate agents.

He says it has been building for several years, with more than four million homeowners now using MyHome to stay informed on their property’s value, housing equity, local demand, and recent sales in their area.

And 700,000 of them have signalled an intent to move in the next 12 months. Prospect Plus is designed to connect agents directly to them.

Win in the living room

Hayes says it will also deliver agents targeted insights on seller prospects, designed to help them ‘win in the living room’. This includes seller activity on Zoopla, saved property searches and expectations on property valuation.

Early results from the 150 agents now using Prospect Plus show it has a conversion rate of over 40% from valuation requests to instructions.
