Rival offers its platform to agents hit by Rentman chaos
Street.co.uk has offered its services to struggling agents, while Rentman owner Nigel Gomm says it could be business as usual within the hour, for agents who contact him.
Agents struggling with the fallout from the Rentman CRM turmoil are being offered an alternative option with competitor CRM provider, Street.co.uk.
Last Thursday, the software system was replaced without warning, with an entirely new white-labelled platform supplied by GNB Property Software.
In response, Street offered to take on any agents who wanted to jump ship from the Rentman/GNB alternative.

But when The Neg contacted the owner of the Rentman software platform, Nigel Gomm, for comment he said that users of Rentman can simply pick up with his platform, under his management, where they left off. “Customers who contact me can be back into their Rentman as it was at 9am last Thursday, within the hour.”

Hundreds affected
Hundreds of agents have been affected by a software switch after a dispute between the current distributors, Rentman Software Ltd run by Gary Whittaker and Scott Emmons and developer and owner of the Rentman software app, Nigel Gomm.
Many agents have been left struggling to work with a replacement ‘white label’ system supplied by GNB, and complain their business has been severely disrupted.
There are even threats of legal action by agents due to the financial impact of the disruption.
Swift transition
Responding to the difficulty agents have found themselves in, Street stepped in, offering “a swift and seamless transition” to its platform, although Nigel Gomm has indicated it is unnecessary.

Stella Nicol, Head of Operations at Street.co.uk, says: “We’re aware of the recent reports highlighting the challenges Rentman users are currently facing.
“We’ve been contacted by a number of agents and, in response, we’re making additional resources available to assist as many agents as possible.”
