The proptech companies set to REACH new heights

Second Century Ventures has named the the eight proptech companies selected for the REACH UK 2024 technology scale-up programme.

This year’s REACH UK cohort, featuring eight proptech companies including Just Move In and Propalt, has just been revealed by Second Century Ventures (SCV).

The venture capital arm of the National Association of Realtors® (NAR) invests in ideas and teams looking to scale across the real estate, financial, insurance, and home service verticals and is supported by the landmark co-investment agreement with Propertymark and TDS Group.

Launched in March 2020, the REACH UK program has quickly become one of the most competitive and recognised proptech scale-up programs in the UK and the 2024 cohort is particularly significant as it benefits from enhanced investment.

Making an impact

The proptech companies positioned to make a substantial impact on modernising the industry and joining the home set up platform, Just Move In, and property data provider, Propalt are:

HIPLA – Digital legal pack helping property professionals reduce transaction times and simplify sales with a suite of industry leading products – ID/AML, Material Information, Document Signing and Quote Referral.

Building Passport – A SaaS solution for building owners and professionals, offering a permanent common data environment on a building-by-building basis to ensure compliance, improve governance and reduce costs in property management.

Infersens – A water sensor technology for property managers and owners that enhances water safety, reduces waste, and supports sustainability in the built environment.

Collectively, these companies have raised over $12.5m in capital, with a combined valuation just north of $100 million.”

SuSy – Intelligent software to streamline domestic retrofit and enhance resident engagement, for estate agents, landlords, local authorities and property professionals.

BuiltAPI – A low-code data integration platform for real estate investors and managers, facilitating cost-effective data exchange and data governance.

Zonifero – An integrated platform for businesses, optimising building and workplace efficiency, reducing costs, enhancing security, and improving employee satisfaction for the age of hybrid work and ESG goals.

Collectively, these companies have raised over $12.5m in capital, with a combined valuation just north of $100 million.

The chosen eight were selected with significant input from Propertymark and TDS Group, ensuring that the chosen start-ups align with the strategic goals of driving innovation and modernisation within the property industry.
