Growing student lettings agency expands into new city
Loc8me has launched its newest branch in the university city of Exeter, now covering student lettings across most of the UK.
Exeter has become the 16th university city covered by Loc8me, as the student lettings agency expands its operations even further south.
With Newcastle remaining its most northern region, the 367-mile distance to Exeter highlights how the company’s offering now spans the full length of the UK.
The expansion adds more than 2,500 managed properties and houses for over 8,000 students to its portfolio and is expected to create a number of new roles in lettings, property management, and compliance.
The University of Exeter is home to over 30,000 students, where demand for well-managed, modern student accommodation remains strong.
Thriving
Raffaele Russo, founder of Loc8me, said: “Exeter has a thriving student community and a real appetite for choice and quality. This is a city where students expect more from their homes, and expanding into Exeter allows us to deliver exactly that.”
Loc8me will provide its full property management services to the region remotely from Bristol, including tenant support, maintenance, and a 24/7 service. Standards will be upheld through its recently launched Seal of Approval programme, designed to ensure consistency, safety, and quality across all properties.
For local landlords, the remote management model brings access to Loc8me’s marketing reach, compliance expertise, and established reputation for operational excellence, helping them deliver a better, more consistent rental experience for students.
“This latest expansion shows how much potential there still is to improve student housing in the UK,” Raffaele added. “We’ve built our growth on trust, consistency, and innovation, and we’re not slowing down. Exeter is the next step in that journey, and we’re excited to get started.”
