EXCLUSIVE: Romans rejoins Zoopla after two-year hiatus
The estate agency's 28 sales and lettings branches are now on Zoopla after parent group LRG quit the portal in January 2024.

The 28 branches of national estate agency Romans have rejoined Zoopla after a two-year hiatus, The Neg can reveal.
The branches, which are in London plus the South and SW of England including big towns and cities such as Bristol, Bath. Swindon and Basingstoke, are now listing their sales and lettings properties on the portal once more after signing what is believed to be a multi-year deal.
In January 2024 Romans’ parent company LRG switched to listing all its properties across just OnTheMarket (OTM) and Rightmove, leading many to believe that LRG was using the ‘one other portal’ approach that OTM dropped in 2018 following agent criticism.
Financial backing

At the time LRG CEO Michael Cook, said the move had been down to OTM’s significant financial backing following its acquisition by US property giant CoStar, which he said would see the “OTM brand flourish over the next couple of years”.
In March this year LRG revealed that its London-only brands including Acorn, Stirling Ackroyd, Gibbs Gillespie and Portico, had signed two-year deals with Zoopla after deciding to ‘return’ to the portal’s fold.
Romans’ properties are now on all three portals, although its sister brand within LRG, Leaders, has not rejoined Zoopla with only its newbuild sales operation appearing. Leaders has some 124 branches, meaning the majority of LRG’s 350 branches across all its brands now list on Zoopla.
LRG is not the only large estate agency to re-commit to the portal over the past 12 months with both Lomond and JLL signing up.
The Negotiator has approached LRG for comment.
