A Leeds company says its recently-launched live property viewings app has been a success with six initial agents now using the service including two big names, Ryder & Dutton and the lettings operation of Leaders.
Home on Film says other agents which have adopted its tech include Dwell in Leeds; Park Row in Selby and Goole, Martin Haigh in Bristol; Glen Cooper in Wakefield and five-office NE agent Nick Carver.
And Manchester, Yorkshire and Lancashire agency Ryder & Dutton says it likes the app because it enables a single agent attending a property to live-stream a tour to a large number of people simultaneously.
A recent viewing (see pic above) attracted 100 people and generated 18 offers without any of the buyers having physically visited the house.
Ryder & Dutton’s MD Richard Powell (pictured) says this has spurred on more offers for both rental and sales properties than might be otherwise achieved via traditional viewings.
“We’ve been trialling the app since June last year and achieved some impressive results and helped us increase our stock and reduce the time from listing to opening offer.
“The App also gathers every viewer’s contact details, allowing us to follow up any new leads.”
Steph Dunkley, Regional Lettings Director, Leaders Romans Group, adds: “It’s a modern approach to letting property and also a virtual window into what our negotiators do in order to find the very best tenants for their landlords’ properties.”
Home on Film founder David Varley, adds: “Our live app is competitively priced and simple for agents to master – no training is required.
“It also offers an immersive experience for the viewer – they can ask questions via the live chat and request multiple views which conventional virtual tours often don’t include.”
Varley says agents pay a £100 monthly subscription plus £10 for each viewing. More details on the website.
