Estate agency takes a swipe at ‘online’ as firm moves to bigger premises
Simon Hill, who heads up Milton Keynes agency Mustard, says new premises in the town 'bring the personal touch' to transactions.

An estate agency boss in Milton Keynes has taken a swipe at firms that have ‘gone online only’ as his firm moves to a larger office within the town.
Mustard Homes, which was founded in 2013, is unusual because it operates from an office building in Milton Keynes but also has a traditional high street branch in nearby Towcester.
It had been based in Gloucester House but has now moved to a large 1,000 sq ft space within Margaret Powell House on Midsummer Boulevard.
The building is named after a local farmer who gave some £2 million towards the care of the elderly and disabled in Milton Keynes. Her cousin, actor Nigel Havers, opened the building in 2003.

Mustard says the move to the building and larger premises has been in response to unprecedented demand for sales and lettings property in and around Milton Keynes, which is waiting to hear whether it will be granted city status within the Queen’s Jubilee celebration announcements.
The new Mustard office has been designed as a comfortable and inviting hub where people will be welcome to ‘pop in for a coffee and a chat about all things property’.
Scheduled appointments will take place in a private meeting room.
One of 50 fibreglass cows created in 2017 to celebrate the 50th birthday of Milton Keynes is now Mustard yellow and has pride of place in the office.
Simon Hill (pictured), MD of Mustard and parent company Michael Graham (which bought Mustard in 2017), says: “When so many businesses across the country are going online, opening our new Mustard office demonstrates our confidence in the town and our commitment to bringing the personal touch to buying, selling and renting properties.”
