New Lomond boss confirmed

Lomond issues official statement confirming that Paul Geddes would be stepping into its Chief Executive role.

Lomond has confirmed its new chief executive as Paul Geddes.

The Negotiator covered the news breaking on social media on Wednesday.

The company declined to comment at that time when we reached out to them.

However, it issued a statement the following morning, confirming that Geddes would be stepping into the role.

Geddes’ appointment at Lomond is his fifth Chief Executive role in 18 years.

Commenting he said: “Lomond is at the forefront of a consolidating UK market, with a compelling and differentiated proposition for both landlords and tenants.

There is significant opportunity to build on the company’s strong positioning and achievements to date.”

Paul Geddes takes over from Ed Phillips, who joined the company in 2022. Under his tenure, the company has grown from 34,000 properties under management to more than 70,000.

This includes overseeing some 40 acquisitions.

Phillips said: “It has been a privilege to lead Lomond and work alongside such a talented team. Together, we have more than doubled the size of the business and built the UK’s leading national platform.

“I am proud of what we have achieved, Lomond is well positioned for continued success, and I leave it in excellent hands. I wish Paul and the team every success in the next phase of growth.”
