MYSTERY: Windows smashed and paint thrown at estate agency branch

Police are looking for two men after a branch of Fisher German was attacked early yesterday morning.

An estate agency was targeted with its windows smashed and paint thrown at the walls during an attack in the early hours.

Police are looking for two men after Fisher German in Thame, Oxfordshire, was hit at around 2am on Monday.

Police say the first offender is described as a tall man, wearing a balaclava and hooded jacket. While the second offender is described as a man wearing a hooded jacket carrying a black bag.

Investigating officer Detective Sergeant Isaac van den Eshof, from Thames Valley Police, said: “We would like to appeal to anybody who may have witnessed this incident or have CCTV or dash cam footage in the area, to please get in touch.”

A spokesperson for Fisher German said: “We are supporting the police with their enquiries relating to this incident.”

Combined forces

Fisher German and Matthews & Goodman announced they had joined forces last month, with the new combined entity trading under the Fisher German name, after months of secret negotiations.

The new firm boasts a turnover of nearly £60 million, with 29 offices and 750 employees.

Fisher German’s property management, consultancy and advisory services cover the full property spectrum including commercial, rural, development, residential, sustainable energy, and infrastructure.

The company has around 650 staff working across 25 UK-based offices from Glasgow to Exeter, with a head office in Ashby-de-la-Zouch.
