Zoopla has ramped up its efforts to persuade letting agencies using its Jupix software to migrate to Alto.

As The Neg reported exclusively in January, the portal has switched its software business focus to Alto and the first 13 agents have now completed a pilot migration which started in June.

This process is now being rolled out across its substantial database of estate agencies, who are now able to make the move should they wish to.

Zoopla is promising to make the migration as painless as possible, with pilot customers seeing data migration in under 24 hours and agent owners given a ‘progress tracker’ tool.

Datasets brought over include rent due dates and the amount to be charged, alongside management fee percentages, removing the need for laborious manual re-inputting.

Transferred

Zoopla claims this is a unique benefit to Jupix customers and will be alongside existing datasets including property and contact records, property media (including photos, floorplans, EPCs or any documents linked to a property), transactional data (offers, agreed offers, viewings and valuations) which are already transferred automatically.

The portal is also egging the benefits of Alto over Jupix, saying that agents who have completed this have seen time savings during transactions of 27 hours, alongside other benefits including a ramped-up training regime for new Alto customers.

Simon Woodward, Director of Product at Zoopla said: “Alto benefits from new integrations, improved functionality and a more practical design and navigation.”

One Comment

  1. Link Agency are mid switchover from Jupix to Alto and altready seeing that the Alto system is much more advanced and far superior to Jupix. It provides some really clever features, there is definatley still room for the system to be improved, but PSG would appear to be taking steps towards developing this product, it is clear that they moved development resources away from Jupix several years ago.
