High profile London agent launches buying arm for Sothebys
Becky Fatemi, who merged her estate agency Rokstone with Sotheby's last year, says she will continue to sell homes as well as represent buyers.

High-profile estate agent Becky Fatemi has launched an ‘invitation only’ buying arm within Sotheby’s International Realty, just a year after she merged her business Rokstone with the global agency giant.
Fatemi, who is already working with a number of private clients with a combined budget of over £300m, says that since she joined Sotheby’s her role now goes beyond that of a traditional property agent/broker, and that she has become a trusted consultant and confidante to the clients in her “little black book”, advising on all aspects of any transaction – be it residential or commercial – and their “impact on both investment and lifestyle”.
Sotheby’s has confirmed to The Neg that Fatemi will continue to work in sales as well as acting as a buying agent, although this representational mix will raise eyebrows in some quarters within London’s prime agent community – some agencies including Knight Frank keep their buying and selling arms operationally separate.
Fatemi and her team’s buying services will cover prime UK London and the Home Counties, the Balearics, Miami, and Abu Dhabi where she has the best contacts before moving out into the rest of the Sotheby’s global network.

Other members of her buying team include new arrival Ella Gondzic who has contacts in fashion, media and music, as well as new sources such as successful social media influencers looking to maximise their property investments.
Long-time Rokstone team member and Senior Director of Lettings, Olivia McSweeney, will also lend her expertise to this part of the business.
Fatemi adds: “Given my 25 years’ experience in the industry and working with the very best team and contacts that I have built over this time, I have a deep understanding for client needs; how to navigate ever-changing international investment landscapes and lifestyle demands.
“Using my four languages – English, French, Spanish and Persian – allows me to speak with clients from around the world easily.”
