‘Bespoke’ agent e-bikes arrive in Oxford
Strutt & Parker is piloting electric bikes for agents to use on appointments across Oxford.
National estate agent, Strutt & Parker, has launched an electric bike lease pilot at its Oxford branch to increase its sustainable mobility in the city.
Following a new partnership between fleet and vehicle leasing expert, Arval UK, and eBike leasing company, BikeFlex, the agent is now using a new recycled carbon framed eBike from Advanced with their own branding for local appointments.
The initiative draws on ‘business bike leasing’ to enable estate agents to choose an electric bike above a car for shorter journeys. The BikeFlex eBike trial is particularly suited to Oxford because of the city’s Zero Emission Zone, where parking and congestion could have an impact on business efficiency.

My team and I need to travel across the city to meet clients and attend appointments in the most efficient and sustainable way possible. By adding electric bikes from BikeFlex to our business’s vehicle choice list, we’re able to test how effective they can be in achieving that aim.
