Spicerhaart has received a Silver Award in the Ministry of Defence Employer Recognition Scheme, recognising its commitment to being a forces-friendly employer.

The agency, whose headquarters is in the garrison town of Colchester, achieved the accreditation by ensuring that they are an attractive place for armed forces personnel (main picture) to continue their careers after leaving the military or for army reservists to work while they await mobilisation.

ROYAL AIR FORCE

Timothy Davies, who is a Senior Branch Manager at Spicerhaart’s Darlows brand in Wales, moved into the property sector following a career in the Royal Air Force.

“This is crucial for veterans because it demonstrates the company’s dedication to providing equal opportunities and support for those who have served their country.”

And he adds: “Spicerhaart prioritises fair treatment, access to essential services and employment opportunities to veterans.

“This support can make a real difference in your post-military life by offering tailored assistance, such as training, job opportunities, and flexible arrangements.

“It creates an environment where veterans can thrive, using their skills and contributing effectively to their new civilian careers.”

OPEN TO MORE

Emma Barber, Spicerhaart’s Armed Forces Champion, says: “We already have a healthy number of ex-service personnel working with us, and we will always be open to more.
