Boomin has revealed the TV ads to be featured within its debut consumer advertising onslaught, which will be a wry campaign that does its best to explain the myriad ways the public can use the platform.
This is the start of the huge media spend that co-founder Michael Bruce has been promising for many months. After debuting this weekend, the ads will run almost daily over the next three years nationally.
The ad, which comes in several versions, features an array of characters including a nun, fisherman, office worker and a sodden camping couple to get the key message over – ‘when you use Boomin, good things happen’ ahead of its official launch on Good Friday.
The first TV ad will air on Channel 4 in a prime time Friday night slot at 9pm during Gogglebox and will run the following night on ITV during Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway.
The ads are wry and entertaining and work hard to explain to a public unaware of Boomin what it does.
Different iterations of the ads focus on its services for both buyers and sellers but has a lot of ground to cover.
This includes arranging house viewings direct via the platform, its matchmaker service to alert buyers when properties come up for sale on their dream street and for vendors to gauge interest before they hit the market, and sneak peaks of homes before they come to market.
All while describing itself as the ‘next generation property site’ and a ‘game changer’.
“I would like to thank the entire team for their tireless dedication and commitment working remotely but collectively during unprecedented times and also a big thank you should go to the Founder Agents that have placed their trust in us,” says Bruce.
“ We will not let you down. The real hard work is just beginning as we progress our journey. Our platform will never stand still. We will continue to test, learn and innovate to drive the customer/agent experience ever forward.”
