Leading property industry figure Lesley Weatherhead has joined CallWell as sales director

Weatherhead tells The Neg: “Having spent a lot of my career in the portal space, I know the challenge that agents have in ensuring that leads are picked up effectively, in a way that makes a great first impression and subsequently wins them more business.

“I have always been impressed by Callwell’s simple, effective and easy to use system and I look forward to working with the team and our customers both present and future.”

GLITTERING

Weatherhead has had a glittering career in the estate agency sector. Before joining Rightmove as a Major Accounts Manager she had already been an estate agent for over 10 years working for various independent agencies.

She later moved to Zoopla where she was Corporate and National Sales Director and, before joining CallWell, Sales Director at Boomin where she was responsible for the creation of both sales and service channels along with operational support and data insight.

SABBATICAL

Weatherhead left Boomin in July 2022 to take a sabbatical and says she jumped at the chance to join CallWell when the opportunity presented itself.

“In its most simplest form CallWell pulls all the enquiries agents receive from different systems, picks them all up and puts them on a dashboard where you can see them in one go.

Last week Callwell signed a new long-term agreement with Connells Group which will see the lead capturing service extended throughout the group’s huge network.

“I’m looking forwad to increasing CallWelll’s brand awareness and the CallWell journey as it develops.”

Connells was one of Callwell’s first customers when industry legends Rob Wellstead and Bob Scarff first launched their portal lead handling platform six years ago.
