Nantwich agent gives £25,000 to the community
In celebration of 25 years in business, Nantwich estate agent, Baker Wynne & Wilson, is launching a £25,000 community pledge.
Inviting people to apply for a slice of the exceptional fund, Baker Wynne & Wilson will split the £25,000 pot across a broad range of organisations and charities throughout the area. The company, which has sold 3600 houses, aims to support a number of groups, in particular, smaller ones working at a grass roots level.
John Baker and Simon Morgan-Wynne started the company in June 1992. John says, “Simon and I have been selling houses in the Nantwich area all of our working lives. The Nantwich community spirit is second to none and we felt strongly about celebrating 25 years by giving back to the community that moulded us.
“We anticipate making 15 donations, but organisations, charities and groups will help us to decide what they need and who it will benefit.”
Baker Wynne Wilson has an impressive judging panel, with some of the region’s most well-known and respected figures. The panel includes: Sarah Callander-Beckett, The High Sheriff of Cheshire 2017, Chair of Judging Panel; Steve Leonard, local Vet and TV personality; Christine Farrall, past mayor of Nantwich and Mike Heler, Managing Director of Joseph Heler Cheese and Sue Baker, of Baker Wynne and Wilson.
