TDS celebrates National Best Companies Day

TDS fundraising imageNational Best Companies Day celebrates companies who have achieved the honour of placing on the list of best companies to work for. With categories for big, small and not-for-profits, this accolade from the Sunday Times requires a company to be dedicated to its employees and developing the talent within the company. The Tenancy Deposit Scheme (TDS) was honoured to make it on to the list of best not-for- profits in 2017.

TDS celebrated with a charity bake sale. Peach Hospice and Dacorum Emergency Night Shelter (DENS) were invited to TDS for a tour of ‘TDS Towers’ and briefed the fundraising committee on what the charities do, and ways to fundraise. The office was decorated with yellow and black bunting and helium-filled balloons decorated with the Sunday Times best companies’ logo. CEO Steve Harriott presided over a glass (or two) of Prosecco and a slice of celebratory cake.

The market was declared open after this, with a great range of goods and cakes having been donated by the team, raising £410 which was matched by TDS to bring the total to £820.
