Organised by estate agent, Nicol & Co, the event is taking place on Saturday 14th June with a fundraising target of £25,000 which will be donated to St Richard’s Hospice.

Hundreds of households are expected to take part, all hosting garage sales at their homes on the same day, and selling anything and everything, with the option to donate a portion of their sales to the charity.

Any quality unsold items can also be dropped off at designated collection points to be distributed to St Richard’s Hospice charity shops across Worcestershire by Warren’s Removals, who have kindly donated their vans to help.

Previous years have seen everything from antiques and collectibles to clothing, toys homeware and other unwanted goodies up for grabs.

Declutter, discover, donate

Nicol & Co already regularly makes regular donations to St Richard’s via its community fund, with the total donations to date already over £23,000.

Ria Simons, community fundraiser at St Richard’s Hospice, added: “We are thrilled to be a part of this brilliant event, which not only brings local communities together but also supports our vital care services.
