Simon Gerrard, Managing Director of Martyn Gerrard Estate Agents and previous President of the NAEA, has walked a full marathon (26.2 miles) in aid of Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice and raised £41,933 for their ‘Moments That Matter’ campaign.

After starting off at the Martyn Gerrard office in Crouch End, he walked all the way to Putney Bridge and then routed back round to finish at The Ark in Barnet, the new children’s hospice building which his fund raising will go towards supporting. He set off at 7am and it took him just over eight hours to do the full route.

The campaign overall has raised over £2 million, helping the charity run the hospice and provide support and care needed for children with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions and their families. Simon said, “I’d like to send my thanks to all of the Martyn Gerrard community who enabled us to raise £42,000.”
