National auction house, John Pye & Sons Ltd has further bolstered its internal legal team with the appointment of Daniel Harley as Legal Counsel.

Daniel’s hire into the newly-created role comes as the firm continues to grow, capitalising on a sustained period of growth.

Daniel will be based at the firm’s Nottingham head office and will report to Head of Legal, Rosalind Keen. His main responsibilities will involve supporting the legal team with tenders and contract reviews while focusing on property-related matters and disputes.

Having qualified as a solicitor in 2008, Daniel trained at a local law firm before gaining further private practice experience specialising in Dispute Resolution and more recently, predominantly property-related disputes. He also has a wealth of commercial contract and corporate dispute experience and is a member of the Property Litigation Association.

Daniel said: “John Pye has an excellent reputation and I have enjoyed watching the business grow from strength to strength over the years.

“With both a personal and professional interest in a number of areas where the business operates, I am confident that my private practice experience will be a good fit and I’m excited about supporting the team to further grow its operations.”
