Belvoir Lettings PLC has announced that Nicholas Leeming is stepping down as a non-executive director of the Company and Michael Stoop (pictured left) joins the Board as non-executive director.

After starting his career with M Winkworth plc, Michael joined the Legal & General Group in 1992, where he was instrumental in setting up Legal & General Franchising Ltd, successfully converting its corporate estate agency business into a wholly franchised network before being sold to The Property Franchise Group in 2014.

Michael became Group Managing Director of TPFG, with his association with the Company ending in July 2017. Michael is also Vice Chairman of The Property Ombudsman Ltd and a Non-Executive Director of Sorbet HQ Limited.

Michael will take over the role of Chairman of the Remuneration Committee and become a member of the Audit Committee.
