Independent estate agency group, Spicerhaart, has appointed an international award-winning Creative Director to support its ambitious growth plans.

Dave Standley is the organisation’s first in-house Head of Creative, bringing extensive experience in branding, design, and marketing. His role will support Spicerhaart’s content creation initiatives, which also include the hiring of a new in-house video crew to transform the company’s sales and marketing collateral for a modern, digitally driven audience.

With a career spanning over three decades, Dave has built a reputation for challenging norms and delivering unexpected creative solutions, from changing the face of urban transport in Madrid to crafting memorable taglines for a global lottery brand.

“My approach to creativity is rooted in challenging conventional thinking and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible,” he said. “Whether it’s changing a bus colour to alter public perception or designing a hyper-local marketing campaign, I believe in harnessing creativity to connect with people at a truly human level.”

A different league

“We’re delighted to welcome Dave to Spicerhaart,” added Paul Smith, Spicerhaart Founder and Chairman. “Dave’s appointment moves us into a different league, supported by significant investment in areas we have never dreamt of going before, which will involve new partnerships and collaborations.

“His proven ability to transform brand perceptions and drive meaningful change perfectly aligns with our mission to innovate within the property industry. His track record of shaking up traditional mindsets will be invaluable as we look to refine and enhance the way we engage with customers, both online and offline.”

Dave’s appointment is part of a wider growth plan, which has already seen the development of a new training academy, alongside the appointment of new performance and acquisition directors for the business.
