Spear 500-recommended broker joins Sotheby’s
Sotheby’s International Realty has welcomed boutique estate agency and lifestyle firm co-founder, George Vernon, as lettings specialist.
George Vernon, a ‘Recommended Property Broker’ according to Spear’s 500, has joined United Kingdom Sotheby’s International Realty as Consultant Senior Lettings Director.
With 14 years’ experience in prime sales and lettings across Mayfair, Notting Hill and Holland Park, George is one of the few qualified chartered surveyors in the industry, with an impressive track record across London’s most prestigious estates.
Renowned for his relationship-led approach and commercial acumen, he has held senior roles at Strutt & Parker, Carter Jonas and eventually JLL, where he helped establish their Mayfair office.
Building on this success, George went on to co-found OB Private – a highly successful boutique estate agency and lifestyle advisory providing white-glove services across real estate, luxury tourism and bespoke member experiences.
Diverse skill-set
George boasts a diverse skill set spanning business development, sales and property management. ARLA- and RICS-qualified, he leverages his technical qualifications and trusted client relationships to deliver exceptional results.
He commented: “I’m thrilled to join the brokerage at such an exciting time of growth. Its client-focused philosophy and commitment to excellence truly resonate with me, and I look forward to contributing to its continued success.”
George joins the firm as it enters Q4, following an exceptional previous quarter in which UK Sotheby’s International Realty achieved £417 million in sales and £16.3 million in lettings transactions despite challenging market conditions.
Alex Isidro, Managing Director at United Kingdom Sotheby’s International Realty added: “We’re delighted to welcome George to our team – with his impressive track record and strong credentials, he’s an excellent fit. As we move into Q4 with record achievements behind us, we’re ready to deliver even greater results, and I’m confident George will play a key role in making this happen.”
