Tenth franchise for Humberts
Estate agency group, Humberts, has expanded into Oxford, Oxfordshire and the Cotswolds with a tenth franchised office, headed up by experienced local expert, Jonathan Gregory.
Operating across Oxford, the Vale of White Horse and Cotswolds’ villages, the new hybrid office specialises in residential sales in the mid to upper market, focusing primarily on town and country houses, village homes and new builds. Jonathan has already negotiated twelve new instructions with a combined value of over £12million, to include a £2.5 million country house in rural Oxfordshire.
Jonathan has a long track record for selling prestigious homes in the local area, with more than ten years’ experience in the property industry. Following a career in pharmaceuticals and then media, his own love of property began when he took on the renovation of a Grade-II listed 16th century farmhouse in Shropshire, after which he made the change to residential estate agency. Since then, Jonathan has worked for a number of agents in Oxford where key achievements include taking an agency into a first place ranking according to Land Registry data and being responsible for introducing a developer of a c.£30 million redevelopment in Brighton to private high net worth co-investors.
Jonathan said: “Too many businesses focus solely on the bottom line and I think what people recognise in the Humberts brand is a strong emphasis on traditional values of service. The franchise model offered me the opportunity to build a new business founded on those same values, but backed by the resources of a recognised and well-respected brand with a national profile. That, for me, was a winning combination and I’m very much looking forward to introducing the Humberts name to the people of Oxfordshire.”
