United Kingdom Sotheby’s International Realty (UKSIR) has poached Hamish Batchen from rival Savills as competition in London’s ultra prime market starts to reach fever pitch.

Batchen joins the firm as Director and has 15 years’ experience and more than five specialising in the luxury real estate sector.

He is also renowned for his tough negotiation skills and detailed, client-focused approach.

Claire Reynolds, UKSIR Managing Partner, says: “We are thrilled to welcome Hamish to our exceptional team. His wealth of experience, dedication and client-focused approach align perfectly with our commitment to delivering outstanding service and results.”

Batchen’s appointment follows that of Liza Lamar who joined as Managing Director of the EMEA region for One Sotheby’s and as a Business Development Consultant for UKSIR.

Lamar has been tasked with bridging the gap between East Coast Florida, their key feeder markets abroad and London.

Lamar, who is based in Holland Park, honed her expertise in luxury residential properties for over 15 years overseeing both development and design as well as marketing and sales.

Having started her career with One Sotheby’s in 2009, she rapidly rose the ranks selling prominent residential towers in Miami and exclusive homes to clients from across the globe.
