Experienced Norfolk duo open new lettings agency

The Neg talks exclusively to Mark Evans and partner Becky Dolder about their new Eaton-based venture – Butterfly Lettings.

Butterfly Lettings new office

After several months of planning, Mark Evans and his partner Becky Dolder have opened the doors in 2025 on their new Norfolk-based lettings agency Butterfly Lettings.

The pair, who have a toddler son, have worked together for a number of years at rival local agency Hammond Stratford and, between, them have over 30 years’ experience in the sector.

With Dolder returning from maternity leave and the lettings side of the company (Dragonfly) being taken over by LRG, they decided it was the perfect time to set up their own agency.

Perfect timing

Evans told The Neg that they wanted to build one that focused on a highly personal service, saying: “As a family-run business, we hold traditional values close, ensuring that exceptional customer service is at the heart of everything we do.”

He adds that many of his rivals in the area had lost their personal touch, and that included his previous employers, who had told him that they would never sell, and is determined not to make the same mistake.

All our customers are names, not numbers.”

He insists: “All our customers are names, not numbers.” And, although he is aiming for 500 properties on his books in the next five years, he says he will never lose sight of his core service values, nor will he sell out.

The company has already joined ARLA and has signed up several landlords and properties.

Evans concludes: “What truly sets us apart is the genuine passion we have for the property industry. We are not just experienced professionals—we are individuals who love what we do.

“This enthusiasm drives us to go above and beyond in every aspect of our work, ensuring that our clients receive a level of service that stands out from the rest.”
