Fine & Country expands to the Isle of Man
Newly appointed associate, Jamie Sutton, will spearhead the launch and development of Fine & Country on the Isle of Man.
Fine & Country has announced its expansion into the Isle of Man, marking the brand’s first presence in the jurisdiction. The move is led by newly appointed associate Jamie Sutton, who will spearhead the launch and development of the business on the Island.
Sutton brings extensive experience to the role, having previously founded and operated a successful hybrid estate agency on the Island, which he sold in 2024. Prior to this, he spent 30 years in financial services, much of it focused on property-related investments.
“This is a significant milestone, not only for Fine & Country but also for the Isle of Man property market,” said Sutton. “We are bringing a globally recognised premium brand to a market that has, until now, lacked a dedicated luxury agency with both international reach and local expertise.”
Launching initially as a lean operation, Jamie will be supported by a wider Fine & Country team, ensuring both on-the-ground expertise and international exposure. Plans are in place to grow the team as the business develops.
Strong market fundamentals
The Isle of Man presents a compelling proposition for high-net-worth buyers, underpinned by strong demand for luxury homes and attractive fiscal policies.
While official data shows the average property price at £367,434, an increase of 4.4% year-on-year for homes between £100,000 and £1million, activity at the top end of the market is notably stronger.
The Isle of Man offers an exceptional quality of life alongside a favourable tax environment.”
Sutton added: “Post-pandemic shifts in working patterns have made relocation more viable, and the Isle of Man offers an exceptional quality of life alongside a favourable tax environment. This is increasingly attracting globally mobile buyers.
“There is a clear uptick in demand for premium homes above £1million. This trend is being echoed by agents across the Island and is often influenced by broader economic and political shifts, particularly in the UK.”
The first year of operations will centre on laying strong foundations, including building a high-quality team, securing a physical presence, and developing a portfolio of premium listings.
