Franchise agents double size of business in just two years
Rosie and Nik Davey of Martin & Co, have purchased a rival agency in Exeter, which is their first acquisition.
A couple at the helm of Martin & Co in Exeter have acquired a rival agency to double the size of their business.
Rosie and Nik Davey (pictured) have purchased Cooksleys Estate Agents, marking the first acquisition for the franchise owners since taking over the business two years ago.
The deal includes both the lettings management portfolio and the sales operation previously run by Cooksleys.
Major milestone
And it represents a major milestone for the couple, who only entered the property industry at the beginning of 2024.
Rose says: “We love the diversity of people and property in the area. We let and sell properties ranging from city-centre studios to countryside family homes, student accommodation and HMOs.”
And Nik adds that the acquisition could be just the first, as they are open to other opportunities.
