Growing estate agency hails apprenticeships as ‘reason for success’
Berriman Eaton credits its strong performance in the property market to its commitment to apprenticeships and developing internal talent.
West Midlands’ estate and lettings agent, Berriman Eaton, has revealed a successful start to 2025 as its workforce grows to 30, all of whom started out on apprenticeships.
With sales agreed on over 650 properties during the last calendar year and revenues and lettings projected to be up 10% and 18% respectively in the first three months of 2025, the firm credits its success to internal staff development.
“It’s important that our staff live and breathe the Berriman Eaton way, as well as getting all the necessary training and skills required to understand and work in our sector,” explained Andy Roberts, Managing Director of Berriman Eaton (main image, far right).
“They have benefited from being mentored by more experienced staff.
“Apprentices are so important, and we have many of them who have now progressed into senior positions. They have benefited from being mentored by more experienced staff, including Caroline and Richard Eaton, Linda Davis and Sarah Edwards who have all recently been recognised with the prestigious grade of Fellowship by Propertymark – awarded for their longevity in the industry.”
He continued: “I have little doubt that this approach is making a real difference to the way we sell and manage properties, from one-bed apartments to family homes and luxury estates worth up to £5m.”
Community commitment
In addition to its commitment to apprenticeships, Berriman Eaton, is also firmly committed to supporting the local community it operates in.
It has renewed its patronage of the Wolves Foundation for a second year, raising almost £30,000 for the Foundation in the last twelve months by completing a Snowdon by Sunrise challenge and participating in the big ‘Molineux Abseil’.
The agency has followed this up by supporting the Bilston Operatic Company, Wolverhampton Rotary Club, local football teams, several causes within Pattingham Village and continuing its long-term, annual commitment to Compton Care.
