LSL launches ‘hybrid associate model’ for self-employed agents
Paul Clarke at LSL, the parent company of Reeds Rains and Your Move, says the model is a "game changer" that gives agents the "best of both worlds".
Estate agency giant LSL is launching a new ‘hybrid associate model’ for self-employed agents that gives them “the best of both worlds”.
LSL Estate Agency Franchising, which is part of the parent company of Reeds Rains and Your Move, says the model allows self-employed agents to run their own businesses while partnering with one of LSL’s local branches.
The initiative offers “a distinctive new take on how self-employed agents operate”, says LSL which operates most famoulsy the Your Move and Reeds Rains branch networks.
Freedom and flexibility
“This hybrid approach allows agents to retain the freedom and flexibility of running their own businesses while enjoying the security and resources of a national franchise,” the firm says.
Paul Clarke (main image), Director of Propositions at LSL Estate Agency Franchising at LSL (main picture), adds: “The Associate Model gives agents the chance to leverage their personal brand while being backed by one of the leading estate agency businesses in the UK.
“One of the big risks for agents going it alone is where they will generate leads,” he says.
“With the LSL Associate Model, agents will have access to a lead generation and nurture system that many self-employed agents outside of our network struggle to replicate.”
This is a game-changer in the brokerage space.”
He says the new model complements the existing franchise set-up. “With the launch of the Associate Model, LSL Estate Agency Franchising has created an offering that gives self-employed agents the best of both worlds.
“They can run their own business, build their personal profile, and still benefit from the structure and support that only a national franchise can provide. This is a game-changer in the brokerage space.”
LSL made the dramatic decision last summer that its entire estate agency network of 183 branches would become franchises.
And the company recently announced the appointment of Annalese Walmsley as the new Franchise Sales Director.
I must be missing something. You take a franchise for your town, then someone can nick part of your territory whilst using your facilities…
