Hamptons goes ‘all-in’ across UK with festive branch windows
The estate agency has spent considerable sums turning its branch windows into winter wonderlands for the Christmas period.
The 90 or so branches of Hamptons have had their branch window property listings removed and replaced with Christmas themed adverts and, in at least one location, (main image) a fireplace-bound santa dropping in for a mince pie and mulled wine.
Hamptons says its branch windows are a festive play on the firm’s ongoing marketing campaign of ‘it’s a journey, we’ll get you there’.
The windows (main image and below) show Father Christmas in his journey to deliver presents, going down a chimney, and flying over roofs. Then, for social media the firm has launched a ‘playful twist’ on the ‘For Sale’ board, sharing posts with a specially designed board that reads: ‘For Santa Please Stop Here.’
Branch windows

“We’re always looking for ways to engage with our local communities and often utilise our well-placed branch windows,” says the firm’s marketing chief Fiona Stewart.
“By playfully adapting our ‘it’s a journey, we’ll get you there’ campaign we’ve created an endearing and tongue-in-cheek display featuring Father Christmas on his own special journey in the hope it brings a smile to passersby.
“Then for social, we’ve given one of our typically functional ‘For Sale’ boards a festive makeover with a ‘For Santa Please Stop Here’ design. It’s a fun adaptation designed to spread a bit of joy to those who see it.”
