All by myself! Portal for (very) small property marketing teams launches

Digital guru Nelly Berova says her online service will offer marketing support and training to staff for a fraction of traditional consultancy costs.

Most estate agents realise how fast the property industry is transferring online including sales, lettings, auctions and conveyancing.  And now it’s the turn of marketing.

An online-only portal has launched that can help estate agents sharpen up their marketing activities and support ‘lone’ marketeers working alongside negotiators and managers.

Called The Lonely Marketeer, the online portal is the brainchild of digital marketing guru Nelly Berova, who runs consultancy Art Division.

After several years spent working within the industry, she noticed that many estate agents’ marketing personnel often work by themselves but were unsupported, lacking the kind of training, ‘team effort’ and brainstorming sessions larger firms can afford.

TheLonelyMarketeer.co.uk will, for a fee, train and certificate marketing staff, as well as help with strategies, teach them digital marketing skills and offer access to a community of property marketeers working for similar-sized companies.

The launch reflects the reduced marketing budgets many agents how have, offering a more cost effective way to boost their marketing activities and increase market share, sales and lettings leads, as well as instructions.

Nelly Berova image“Many small businesses in the property sector rely on an in-house marketing team of one, or worse, on the company owner or director to strategise, plan and coordinate the marketing activities,” says Berova (pictured, left).

“In many cases, in-house marketers have limited knowledge of what works. They have no one to brainstorm ideas with, no one to ask for help, yet are expected to bring in leads.”

Prices start at £65 a month for its service, which includes a 30-day money back guarantee.
