Independent estate agents raise £5,000 for cancer charity
Annual gathering of FIA members in Milton Keynes also saw presentation that claimed independent agent members win higher prices for their vendor clients.

The Federation of Independent Agents (FIA) has held its annual conference (FIACON24) during which a charity auction raised £5,000 for breast cancer charities.
Held in Milton Keynes, estate agents from across the country came together for the annual event where a charity auction, hosted by Pattinsons Auctions was held on behalf of the Pink Ribbon Foundation supporting breast cancer charities from across the UK, which saw an incredible £5,000 raised.

Graham Lock, Founder of the FIA, said: “Our members conference was once again a great success, not only did we learn and share so much on the day, we also helped to raise money for a fantastic cause.”
The event itself included presentations from Simon Gates, Chartwell Noble, Graham Lock, Pattinsons Auctions and an expert AI panel which included Heather Staff (Street), Ian Preston (Preston Baker) and Dev Malle (Simplify) who gave their opinions on the current and future benefits of AI within the estate agency industry.
“I’m so proud of the FIA members, we’re a not only a unique group of high-performing, non-competing agents but more than that, we’re building special relationships within the network and our key suppliers who continue to add new products and services to help our members stay one step ahead in an ever-changing market,” added Graham.

The FIA continues to add high-quality independent members from across the UK and now represents approximately 1% of all UK property sales transactions.
As revealed by Simon Gates on the day, FIA members impressively achieve higher selling prices and faster sales agreed times compared to the rest of the UK estate agency market.
“In this modern era of a digital and social media led landscape it’s so important that we continue with physical interactions and when so much talent gets together in one room for an event like this it can only lead to improvements and enhancements for all of our members,” adds Lock.
