Deposit API deal ‘makes registration much simpler’

The Tenancy Deposit Scheme has signed a tech agreement with student property specialist EREC Estates to make deposit registration 'seamless'.

The Tenancy Deposit Scheme (TDS) has unveiled an API integration deal with Coventry-based EREC Estates.

By joining the TDS system to EREC’s tech offering, it is hoped the procedure for agents registering deposits will be made much simpler.

Duplicating deposit data from a CRM system onto a deposit scheme platform can be a lengthy process.

But the TDS API solves this issue by eliminating the need for manual data input.

Last year, the TDS struck a similar deal with OnTheMarket subsidiary and proptech platform Teclet.
