eXp is now one of largest estate agencies in the UK, claims boss Adam Day
Day, who previously worked for EasyProperty and founded Hatched, revealed at a London gathering that his business now has over 350 agents on board.

There are now over 350 estate agents across the UK using the eXp UK platform to market and run their businesses, the company has revealed.
Launched in November 2019 it reached 50 agents by February 2020, some 200 by June last year and 270 by February this year.
During an end-of-year awards bash some 250 of its agents gathered at the Waldorf Hilton hotel in central London hosted by comedian Tom Allen, who until May this year was a co-presenter of Channel 4 TV show The Great British Bake Off, its boss Adam Day (main picture) said the agency was now “one of the largest in the UK”.
Known for his acerbic humour, Allen took tongue-in-cheek potshots at those gathered at the hotel including Day and also eXp World Holdings Founder, Chairman and CEO, Glenn Sandford (main picture) who flew in from the USA for the event.
“At the beginning of the eXp UK journey just three years ago, our Christmas festivities amounted to a Zoom call with barely twelve agents attending,” said Day.
Humble beginnings
“The rapid transformation from those humble beginnings to one of the largest estate agencies in the UK is quite an achievement by any standard.
“The faith that hundreds of agents have shown in the eXp brand is plain to see as we continue to be one of the fastest growing property brands in the country backed by a fantastic team.”
Gongs at the event included one for Jason Scott for earning the highest average fee and Chris Abraham for the highest single fee of £300,000+ plus Ben Moore for ‘best marketeer’ and ‘best newcomer’, Darren Beckett.
Chris Abraham, whose patch includes Porthcawl in Wales, got an award for the highest single gross commission earned.
Those attending included Liana Loporto, arguably one of the agency’s highest-profile signings, who has just finished a stint at President of NAEA Propertymark. She is one of the ‘cappers’ celebrated at the event. These were the 45 agents within eXp who have reached the commission earnings threshold whereby they no longer then pay the agency any commission share or approximately £80,000.
