Hunters reveals £70,000 OTE package for its new ‘Personal Agents’
But company says this figure is an estimate 'based on number of transactions less associated monthly costs'.

Hunters has caused quite a stir in several northern towns after advertising for recruits to its new ‘Personal Agent’ network and who, it promises, can earn up to £70,000.
This figures is approximately twice what it’s offering sales negotiators on a traditional employment basis.
One advert posted on recruitment website Indeed.co.uk prompted a local newspaper to marvel at the substantial earnings potential of the role, which in that case was based in and around Wigan.
“It seems like the housing boom in Wirral has also caused a jobs boom among estate agents,” the Liverpool Echo reports.
“And if you have a bit of experience in the field you could land yourself a job with a salary of £70,000 a year.”
Not a salary
But Hunters has confirmed to The Negotiator that: “It is not a salary – this is an OTE once the financials for that personal agent’s territory have been completed.
“The financials stated are estimates based on number of transactions less associated monthly costs.”
The adverts, which can be found on several different job portals offering similar roles and packages around the UK, are part of the estate agency’s recent push to establish a hybrid ‘hub’ style network of self-employed agents.
Launched two weeks ago and Called Personal Agent, Hunters says it will enable agents to operate either via a Hunters hub or work from home ‘on their own terms’.
As we reported two weeks ago, the company has already signed two Personal Agents including Keira Wiles who will be attached to the company’s Castleford branch.
