Inventory Hive, one of the UK’s best-known inventory tech platforms, has joined forces with The Depositary, Kristjan Byfield’s end-of-tenancy services which reduces time spent between notice to deposit being returned from 3-4 hours to 30 minutes for agents.

Both companies are linked to deposit scheme TDS and claim to significantly reduce the amount of paperwork and reporting needed to help letting agents and landlords reduce the number of disputes between them and tenants.

This includes check-out descriptions/reports, photos, meter readings and details of items requiring deductions, all of which will now be automatically transferred from Inventory Hive to The Depositary, giving all the players involved a single place to view documents.

“This integration will allow check-out descriptions and photos captured via our App to be passed through to The Depositary effortlessly. This solves the age-old admin headache of re-typing and double entry.”

Steve Harriott Chief Executive of The Dispute Service: “We’re delighted to see two of our key partners linking up in this way.

“We know that inventories are key to reducing the numbers of deposit disputes.  Allowing Inventory Hive to seamlessly to connect to The Depositary’s end of tenancy solutions will mean fewer disputes between landlords and tenants and a faster end of tenancy process.”
