Keller Williams has opened its latest market centre, this time in Scotland and headed up by a former member of the armed forces, Andy Reid.

To be called Keller Williams Caledonia, the new business takes the company’s total to 11 market centres including two in Scotland.

The estate agency also now claims to have ‘well over’ 250 agents in the UK and says it is on track to become the No.1 estate agency based on current growth performance.

The announcement was made during a Zoom call attended by the UK’s Keller Williams agents and associates, during which the agency’s global President Bill Soteroff revealed that the company is now operating in 47 countries outside of its home territories of the US and Canada.

“It has not been easy for anyone in recent months and everyone’s business, life and family has been affected but we will get through this together,” he said.

The enlarged network includes four recent additions; Serbia and the Dominican Republic, adding 270 agents to the global total of 10,760 and 232 market centres outside of North America.

During the meeting Taylor also revealed that the UK is one of the world’s top three performing countries along with France and Turkey.

Taylor said that the UK is to get a new regional development director, Wayne Albutt, who is due to arrive from South Africa once Covid travel restrictions are relaxed.
