Leading agency probing ‘drug taking’ at branch seen in TikTok video
KFH announces probe into staff behaviour last week at its West Hampstead branch following the firm's annual online awards bash.
London’s largest estate agency KFH is investigating alleged partying at its West Hampstead branch last week following the firm’s annual online staff awards ceremony.
The estate agency firm’s 60 branches across the capital were closed to the public at 4pm on February 11th in order that the gongs could be handed out among its 800 employees, with the workforce expected to then go home afterwards.
Unfortunately for the team at Hampstead, party fever appears to have gripped some members of its sales and lettings team who then carried on celebrating, blurry footage of which has now emerged on TikTok.
This includes unidentified members of staff appearing to take gulps of air from two balloons – which is the method some people use to inhale the gas nitrous oxide, better known as laughing gas.
A female agent can be seen apparently inhaling from a yellow balloon while a male colleague clutches a white balloon to his hands.
Giggles
Popular for some time among partygoers as a way to score a hit of euphoria and prompt instant giggles, selling ‘hippy crack’ for anything other than medicinal use has been illegal since 2016 following a spate of deaths.
A KFH spokesperson told The Mail: “’We are aware of the video circulating on social media and are in the process of investigating why several members of staff remained in one of our offices into the evening.
“Due to the investigation being ongoing, we are not able to comment further at this time.”
The TikTok video, which lasts a few seconds, was uploaded by user Shaun Buxton, who claims his original video was taken down by the social media platform.
