Estate agents in bid to be YouTube ‘superpower’ stars
A group of EXP agents from Cambridgeshire has produced a marketing video describing their property selling skills to get instructions.
They may not be Batman, Spiderman or one of the Incredibles, but estate agents in Cambridgeshire are claiming to have property selling ‘superpowers’ in an unusual YouTube video.
The claim is being made by a group of EXP UK agents with the help of industry figure Simon Bradbury, who after leaving his job as MD at estate agency Thomas Morris, is now both a consultant and agent with EXP UK after joining in January.
We’re a very experienced group of estate agents and each of us have different strengths or superpowers.”
“There are currently seven EXP agents in Cambridgeshire including our latest recruit, Jeroen ‘J’ Kamminga, who opens for business in a few weeks,” he says.
“We regularly meet to swap ideas and even potential buyers,” says Bradbury. “We’re a very experienced group of estate agents and each of us have different strengths or superpowers.
“I thought it would be interesting to promote our collaborative and innovative approach to buyers and sellers.”
The video (see below) features several claiming major benefits over their competitors including selling homes for over the asking price, listening to clients’ needs (apparently many agents don’t), doing it differently to other agents and having 40 years’ experience in the industry – Bradbury’s claimed superpower.
Perfect set-up
”I’ve long believed that estate agents in the UK should act in a more collaborative manner and the eXp network is perfectly set up to achieve this,” says Bradbury.
EXP has an excellent referral system, he points out, saying this means agents receive and initiate instruction and buyer referrals throughout the country or even across the globe.
“However, we all know that any lead is only as good as the individual person who is dealing with it and if that individual has a superpower – so much the better,” he adds.
The video features EXP agents from around Cambridgeshire explaining their own superpowers and how they can use them to the advantage of their customers.
‘Admit when you are wrong’ and ‘raise the fees’, says industry veteran
