It’s getting crowded! Another property portal launches in NI
New digital platform launched by NI Bricks with free property listings for up to three months, giving the country more portals than some much larger nations.
A new property portal for Northern Ireland called NI bricks has been launched in what is fast becoming a crowded market.
Founder and CEO of NI Bricks Pragati Dhingra says: “NI Bricks was born out of a need for innovation in the real estate sector. We recognised the gap in affordable, tech-driven solutions for estate agents.
An easy-to-use, affordable alternative to existing property portals.”
“With this platform, we aim to lead the digital transformation of the real estate industry in Northern Ireland, ensuring that agents can maximise their reach, minimise their costs, and enhance their business efficiency.”
To encourage early adoption, agents who register with NI Bricks before the 31st of October 2024 will be able to list properties for free until 31st December 2024.
Stiff competition
The new property portal will face competition, not only from established players such as Rightmove and Zoopla (OTM has no agents listing there) but also from NI specialists PropertyPal and Propertynews and newcomer HomesNI.
The property portal says the platform offers an easy-to-use, lower-priced alternative to existing property portals and that there is a “gap in affordable, tech-driven solutions for estate agents”.
Dhingra is an tech industry veteran with over 20 years of experience in the tech sector and 15 years of work specialising in artificial intelligence and digital transformation.
He is joined by Fred Ashton a property senior with over 50 years of experience of Northern Ireland’s housing market.
