Serious competitors to Rightmove come along once in a blue moon but it now has one in Northern Ireland called HomesNI, the first portal to be launched there in 17 years for estate agencies.

Its founder claims it will revolutionise the way people search for their next home and offers a fresh, modern, trusted, user-friendly platform for both lettings and sales.

The portal is designed to be specific to Northern Ireland whether home buyers or renters via advanced search filters, detailed property listings, and up-to-date market insights.

Due to launch officially on 2nd September, HomesNI is inviting agents to sign up and upload their properties prior to it going live to the public. It will be free for agents until the end of next month and is due to charge £50+VAT a month per branch for all listings as a flat rate for the first 12 months and then £75 a month thereafter.

Some 100 local estate agencies have already joined the platform which currently includes some 9,000 listings including 4,000 sales properties, and agents are already reporting viewing enquiries.

BlueCubes, the company behind HomesNI, is already a familiar name to many Northern Ireland agents as the Belfast-based firm has been designing websites for the country’s property industry for a long time.

“We’ve been working with estate agents for over 17 years, delivering bespoke website design and online services,” says boss Stephen Cousins.

“BlueCubes already works closely with over 60 estate agency groups in Northern Ireland and we’ve been listening to their issues and their desire for something new and fresh.

“That is exactly what HomesNI.com is and we cannot wait to launch to the public and help them find their new home.” Cousins says HomesNI has had a lot of support from agents to get to this stage”.

Agents can register their interest on the website.
