Zoopla launches ‘first of a kind’ local ads featuring agents
Initially in the North West and West Midlands, ads will appear promoting two named local estate agents and their businessess, with other areas to follow next year.
Zoopla has launched an unusual marketing campaign that will see ‘top’ local agents celebrated on local outdoor media, initially in the North West and West Midlands, with other regions to follow next year.
In these areas a pair of named agents will have their photographs and businesses promoted in areas including Sefton and Warwick but also in regional and local papers including The Liverpool Echo, Coventry Telegraph and Metro West Midlands.
The estate agents involved are Kate Gostelow (main image), Sales Director at North Wall Property in Merseyside and Gary Thompson, Director at Charles Rose in Warwickshire.
The pair were chosen by their sales clients including buyers and sellers for going the ‘extra mile’ and were picked from some 100 nominations.
Zoopla’s aim with the adverts, as well as promoting the best agents locally, is to prompt consumers to find agents via Zoopla, following on from national marketing activity in a similar vein within radio ads, taxi wraps and a partnership with the English Cricket Board.
Community
Gostelow says: “I am so pleased to have been chosen to feature in Zoopla’s latest campaign, especially since this is all down to our community and clients sending through their heartwarming nominations. We put our heart and soul into everything we do, so to be recognised and appreciated for the hard work is really amazing.”
Alex Rose, Director of Sales at Zoopla said: “We’re pleased to be the first UK property portal to feature estate agents in our advertising.
“Our ambition is that this campaign not only shines a spotlight on Kate and Gary, but also highlights the invaluable role of agents when it comes to making those all-important home decisions.”
