‘Mr Super Prime’ advises agents to become ‘face of the business’
Daniel Daggers, who has 54,000 Instagram followers, says a strong social media presence is now essential.
Social media pioneer Daniel Daggers says estate agents must develop a ‘personal branding’ to be successful.
‘Mr Super Prime’, as he calls himself for his record selling top end London properties, believes his profile was created through a strong digital media presence.
Every agent needs to become the ‘face of their business’, he told the ‘OnTheRecord’ podcast hosted by OnTheMarket CEO Jason Tebb (see picture right).
Daggers founded his DDRE Global business in 2020 after starting his career at 17 with independent agency Vickers & Co, and then spending 12 years with Knight Frank.
He resigned from Knight Frank after complaints from wealthy clients about his Instagram posts.
He now boasts 54,000 followers on Instagram, and 100k in total through all his social media accounts. He claims to have sold nearly £4 billion worth of real estate in his career, and now employs 19 people at DDRE.
‘Love my clients’
“Get your customers to follow you online,” he told the podcast. “Be informative and entertaining,” he advised agents.
I struggle to spell and there are loads of weaknesses in my armour.”
“I struggle to spell and there are loads of weaknesses in my armour. But I absolutely love my clients and they know it. I feel very passionately about it, and want to give them a great service.
“That is how I became more successful,” he said.
Daggers says he learned much of his approach to work from the United States, and the way estate agents there create a profile through images and marketing.
