New NI property portal launches with over 11,000 homes listed
Northern Ireland’s answer to Rightmove HomesNI warmly received by agents when it went live on Monday.
Northern Ireland-focused property portal HomesNI was officially launched this week with 120 agents already signed up and 11,000 properties listed.
As was reported in The Neg last month, the company behind it, BlueCubes, is already a familiar name to many agents in Northern Ireland as the Belfast-based firm has been designing websites for the country’s property industry for over 17 years.
The low-cost portal will be free for agents this month but from October it will cost a flat rate of £50+VAT per month per branch for all listings for the following 12 months and then go up to £75 a month thereafter.
The highlight is the platform’s simplicity, clarity, and engagement.”
The portal plans to eventually offer 75% of its ownership to Northern Ireland’s estate agents, giving them a say in future costs, features and ownership.
Stephen Cousins, Managing Director of BlueCubes & HomesNI said “We are so excited that HomesNI is now fully up and running and we’ve been blown away by how many Estate Agents are onboard with us.”
John Minnis from John Minnis Estate Agents said at the launch party: “We’re thrilled to welcome Homes NI to the Northern Ireland property market.
“It’s great to have another platform where our clients can market their homes. It’s a new resource that we believe will make a real difference for both buyers and sellers.”
Excited
Nick Finlay of Montgomery Finlay & Co. Enniskillen said: “We are excited to see HomesNI offering home buyers across Northern Ireland a quality, innovative and engaging service.”
And Michael Chandler of Michael Chandler Estate Agents added: “I am delighted with the rapid success HomesNI has already achieved, with nearly every agent in the market already onboard or coming onboard and is getting an impressive level of public interest in such a short period of time.”
“The highlight is the platform’s simplicity, clarity and engagement which will attract visitors and play a vital role in the future of the Northern Ireland property market.”
A mobile app is said to be coming shortly.
