Together, they are launching a new service, using Awaretag sensors, which monitor a building’s damp and mould risk. These can provide data on the prevailing conditions within a building, which is then backed up by an information hub to help resolve any issues that arise.

This, the companies claim, will help both landlords and tenants meet the standards required by Awaab’s Law in the forthcoming Renters’ Rights Bill and promote healthy living, reduce disputes, and foster an improved rental market.

To mark the launch of this partnership, TDS landlords are invited to participate in seven pilot assessments.

DampSmart CEO Leonard Carey says: “We’re delighted to partner with TDS as they lead the way in transforming the rental housing sector.

Together, we’re launching a new era in the diagnosis of damp and mould.”
