Sotheby’s poaches highflyers from Knight Frank as ‘talent raid’ continues
Simon Burgoyne and James Gubbins have engineered some of London’s biggest deals and they will work from Sotheby's Conduit Street office.
UK Sotheby’s International Realty (UKSIR) has recruited property experts Simon Burgoyne and James Gubbins from Prime Central London rival Knight Frank.
Burgoyne and Gubbins are former Knight Frank Partners and the power pair’s recruitment is the latest in UKSIR further push into the capital as foreign buyers start to return to take advantage of falling property prices.

The Neg revealed last week how Savills’ Sarah Peck had also joined the luxury agency’s London office as Senior Sales Director having previously helped mastermind the sales of London’s standout developments.
Between them Burgoyne and Gubbins have engineered some of London’s biggest deals and they will work from UKSI’s Conduit Street office (main picture).
Burgoyne, formerly a Partner at the Knight Frank Mayfair & St James’s office, joins UKSIR as Senior Sales Director. He has over 17 years in London’s ultra-high West End market.
Gubbins was also as a Partner at the same Knight Frank office and served as Burgoyne’s number two. He also joins UKSIR as Senior Sales Director.
