It brings a whole new meaning to ‘The House at Pooh Corner’ – Savills has launched a new advertising campaign in the style of the famous children’s stories.

Winnie the Pooh isn’t mentioned in the ads but the images are clearly in the theme of the books by A.A. Milne.

Under the motto of ‘We know your area, because it’s our area too’, the ads take the form of poems and drawings aimed at people looking for a new home in the town or the country.

The new campaign is designed to represent the dual strength of the Savills proposition – ‘strong local knowledge backed by the added fire power of a global network’.

Illustrations designed by artist Heather Gatley, which have been commissioned to communicate the core messages of community charm and local knowledge, will be tailored depending on location, and the channel in which they feature.

Famous actress

Actress Suranne Jones, known for her roles in Doctor Foster, Scott & Bailey and Coronation Street has agreed to be the voice of the radio ads, while Waitrose has granted Savills a property brand exclusive for 87 sites around the country.

The radio advert will play across Global’s digital radio network (which includes channels such as LBC, Classic and Capital).

Victoria Bennett, Head of Marketing and Brand, Savills

Victoria Bennett, head of marketing and brand at Savills, says: “Our new campaign aims to showcase how interconnected our local people and offices are with the areas in which we are based.

“Not only do we know the homes and streets in your local area, but we are also strongly intertwined with surrounding communities and its people, restaurants, schools and entertainment spaces.”
